Sayuri Healing Food
About - Vegan restaurant with a Bohemian vibe offering plant-based mains and desserts. Best for lunch and dinner. Reach early to score a table as it is generally crowded.
Vibe - The best place to meet new people, Expat hippy vibe, live music almost every day, movie screenings, cooking classes, language learning and many more.
Food to try - Tonic Khichdi, dragon roll sushi and cacao ceremony are must-try 🤤!

Rise Turkish Kitchen
About - A women-run tiny cafe in the same street where Sayuri Healing Food is.
Vibe - 2-floor seating with limited tables, limited menu with amazing Mediterranean cuisines👌🏽
Food to try - Falafel platter with tapas (walnut karator dip is extremely good) and pita bread must-try!
Cost for two - Rs 1000/ USD 12/ IDR 2,00,000
Distance - Less than 1 km from Ubud central
Daily Baguette 🥖
About - Paris-based patisserie. There are lots of freshly baked options to choose from! Loved it so much that we visited all the branches (four branches – Sanur, Ubud, Hayam Wuruk, Denpasar) in Bali!
Vibe - Ample space for seating. Gets crowded at peak hours. Hayam Wuruk's location is the most spacious among all the branches we visited.
Food to try - Craving for freshly baked foods? Paninis, Raisin rolls, Almond croissants, and Brioche sandwiches are to die for!
Cost for two - From bakery foods to paninis, salads and sandwiches, everything is reasonably priced between Rs 900 / USD 10/ IDR 1,75,000
Taman Dedari
About - Huge restaurant with exceptional architecture inside the premises.
Vibe - Most people visit here just for the aesthetics and good pictures. Don’t be one of them. Try their food, explore their art museum and enjoy their ambience!
Food to try - Indonesian cuisines -Vegetarian & non-vegetarian options available. We loved Nasi Goreng and Margherita pizza!

Pizzeria Monella
About - Italian restaurant with good pizzas in the town and affordable prices located right in the central Ubud region.
Vibe - Portion size is pretty good, if you are looking for wood-fired pizza in a central location, this is the place. Open for lunch and dinner.
Food to try - Vegetarian pizza and fresh tender coconut

Lazy cats
About - Vintage décor café with vegetarian options
Foods not to try - We read a lot of great reviews and visited here. We didn't like the Parmesan rice bowl and Cheesadilla. Skip trying these cuisines.

Kebun Café
About - Two floored cozy cafe serving Italian and Mediterranean cuisines
Foods to try - Rosemary polenta chips, pasta and Guinness stout beer are drool-worthy.

Melting Wok Warung
About - A tiny local warung serving authentic Indonesian cuisines. It has limited seating capacity.
Food to try 🌶️🌶️ - If you are looking to try local non-vegetarian dishes in Ubud Central, then this is the place!

Mamma Mia
About - A small tiny café serving wood-fired Italian pizza!
Food to try - Good Pastas and Pizzas. Their Tiramisu is a must-try.

Taco Casa
About - It is a branch of a Texas-based chain serving casual Mexican dishes such as tacos, burritos & nachos.
Food to try - Decent Tacos, Great Burrito Bowls

Tukies coconut
About - Everything Coconut! A homely cafe serving a variety of coconut-based desserts, including ice cream, cakes & vegan treats. Limited seating capacity.
Desserts to try - Coconut ice cream with fruit salad and coconut cookies are our favourites. Tuak float made from the sap of coconut palm tasted weird.

Gelato secrets
About - A takeaway Gelato shop serving gelatos and sorbets. Few branches have limited seating capacity, few are takeaway joints.
Desserts to try - We tried pistachio gelato. It was decent but felt too sweet for our tastebuds.

Kokonat Bali
About - Another dessert shop to fulfill your coconut cravings. A small cozy shop making coconut based desserts from fresh coconuts. It has a limited seating capacity. The owners are friendly and you can have a pleasant conversation with them.
Desserts to try - Coconut shake with cashews, Coconut Ice cream with chocolate dip and roasted pistachio with coconut shake.
